Jan Newmaker passed away on October 25, 2012 in Savannah, Georgia, surrounded by her loving husband and children. She was born on November 3, 1939 in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
Jan is survived by her husband, Richard and their six children: Pamela Newmaker Thompson of Denton, TX; Scott and his wife Vicki, of Tumwater, WA; Rebecca Newmaker of Boston, MA; Suzanne and her husband Timothy Welch, of DuBois, PA; Gregory of West Hartford, CT; and Jennifer and her husband Ciro Longobardi, of North Haven, CT. She also is survived by seven grandchildren: Morgan, Olivia and Noah Thompson of Denton, TX; Alyssa and Dallin Newmaker of Tumwater, WA; and Anneliese and Eliana Welch of DuBois, PA.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff of the Neurological ICU at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, for their expert and loving care.
Interment will be at Westview Cemetery in Starbrick, PA. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Youngsville, PA.
