Gertrude C. Schott, 95, of Golden Living Center, Kinzua, died Thursday (Oct. 25, 2012) at Golden Living.
She was born October 22, 1917 in Frewsburg, the daughter of Manley and Olga Anderson Carlstrom.
Before retiring in 1980, she had been employed at Ran Machine and for many years Weber Knapp.

She was a member of the Wiltsie Community Church, Wiltsie Ladies Aid, and was church refreshment coordinator.
Gertrude is survived by two brothers: Manley Carlstrom Jr. of Sugar Grove, PA, and Arthur Carlstrom of NC.
She was predeceased by her husband of fiftyfive years, Lawrence Schott, her stepchildren: William Schott and Billie Tayeson, three brothers: Robert, Richard, and Herbert Carlstrom, and four sisters: Marie Tremblay, Irene Williams, Esther Stoddard, and Ruby Walker.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Wiltsie Community Church. The Rev. Todd Venman, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.
