Warren's girls volleyball team finished its season in style, defeating visiting Oil City in three sets on "Pink Out" night at Warren Area High School.
The Dragons downed the Oilers, 25-12, 25-11, and 25-22, to close out the season with a 7-7 overall record, and in fourth place in Region 4 with a 5-7 record.
"We controlled the ball well and got it to our hitters, who did a great job," said Warren coach Mike Dolan. "Overall, it was a nice team effort and a good way to finish the season."

Valerie Latimer and Rachel Lasecki paced the Dragons offense with nine and eight kills, respectively. Allie Sedon added four blocks on defense and Ashley Barker four aces.
Warren was defeated two sets to one in the J.V. match, 23-25, 25-19, and 10-15. Keyah Anderson had five digs and five aces, Jennifer Daugharthy had eight kills, and Alexis Munksgard six kills in the loss.

Cochranton 3, Eisenhower 0
The Eisenhower Knights were overwhelmed by the visiting Cochranton Cardinals, 3-0, Thursday at Eisenhower High School.
The Cardinals - always a threat for a District 10 title - pulled away in each game, winning 25-14, 25-5, 25-16.
Jenna Jordan led the Knights with nine service points and Alyssa Peterson added eight service points and eight blocks. Kelsey Repke added nine digs, Kristen Williams chipped in six digs and Asyia Peters had eight blocks.
The Knights (4-12) wrap up the regular season Monday in Sheffield.
The Knights' junior varsity team was defeated in two games, 9-25, 12-25.

Saegertown 3, Youngsville 0
Youngsville finishes 4-12 overall, and 3-11 in Region 2, after a 11-25, 23-25, 8-25 loss to third-place Saegertown on Thursday at Youngsville High School.
"They were actually playing the way they can play (in the second game)," said Youngsville coach Bev Fox.
The Eagles were up 22-20 after a call that went against them turned the tide.
Kennedy Cratty ended with four blocks, five digs and five kills; Aubree Hendrickson 10 assists, eight digs and one kill; Karissa Cratty 16 digs and three kills; Abby McLaughlin five digs and three kills, and; Katelyn Hall four digs, two kills and one assist. Hall and McLaughlin are Youngsville's lone seniors.
Hall had 27 digs and Kailey Giese 21 digs in a 14-25 and 15-25 junior varsity loss.

Ridgway 3, Sheffield 0
Sheffield is 1-14 overall with one match at Eisenhower on Monday to go after a 21-25, 14-25, 19-25 oss to Ridgway on Thursday.
Sheffield coach Traci Vile said, despite the sweep, "we played them much better this time."
"It went back-and-forth (in the first game)," she said.
Marlea Sprandle ended with 11 service points, Brandi Rockwell seven kills, Kayla Curtis three kills and four blocks, and Hannah Vile 12 assists in the loss.
Jordan Wilson had eight service points in a 19-25, 22-25 junior varsity loss.
