JESSE MARTIN

Jesse Martin, 19, a lifelong resident of the Pittsfield and Mickle Hill areas, and most recently of Guys Mills, Pa., passed away suddenly October 22, 2012.

Jesse was born on March 13, 1993 in Corry, Pa. and was an active young man who had many interests and hobbies. His love for his family, especially his younger sisters, was very important for him. He loved being outside, whether it was riding his motorcycle, canoeing, spending time in the woods, campfires, or fishing. Jesse also enjoyed spending time with his friends, many of whom he considered family. Jesse idolized Johnny Cash. His favorite song from him, that always had to be played was "The Man Comes Round". Many other of his favorite things to do were eat shrimp, watch the "The Breakfast Club", lift weights, and eat healthy. Jesse loved all creatures big and small, especially his lizard Lizzy, and turtles. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by a special friend Lauryn Willingham of Bakersfield, Ca., his mother Julie Adams Martin and her companion Ben Hittie, of Pittsfield, his father Scott Martin, and his companion Alisha Barger, of Guys Mills, Pa., maternal grandparents Evelyn, and the late James Adams Sr., of Corry, paternal grand parents Mildred (Seymour) Upton of Mickle Hill, Garland, and Daniel (Theresa) Martin of Corry, his siblings Shane Martin, Jamie Martin, Sadie Martin, Jordyn Martin, Peyton Hittie, Morgan Hittie, Maddison Hittie, Lurisa Hayden, and Aleksys Hayden, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St. in Youngsville, on Friday from 24 and 68 p.m., and 1 hour prior to a funeral service that will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Youngsville, with the Rev. Phil Gilmore, pastor of the Corry Church of the Nazarene, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to a scholarship fund that has been set up in Jesse's memory at the Northwest Savings Bank in Youngsville. Condolences to the family may be made at www.nelsonfuneralhome. net.
