Several Warren County 4-H members represented the county at the District IX 4-H Horse Show on September 7-9, in Harlansburg. Members had a chance to qualify for the state show set to be held October 26-28 at the State Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. The district and state shows offer 4-H members an opportunity to put their numerous hours of practice and caring for their animals to the test against members from any of the eight counties that make up District IX. Qualifiers for the state show include Morgan Johnson, Emma Lewis, Stephanie Puckly, and Hunter Uplinger-Reiff. Congratulations to all participants on an outstanding effort. 4-H in Pennsylvania is coordinated by Penn State Cooperative Extension through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. 4-H programs are open to all boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 18.
