Make & Take Day at the Rouse

From 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., Make & Take participants will find themselves moving station to station, learning to complete a new fall- or winter-themed craft at each stop. Skilled instructors will be teaching various crafting methods, including glass etching, beading, T-shirt magic, primitive painting, coaster design and ornament construction.

At each station, Make & Take participants will create crafts out of both new- and gently-used materials.

Once each participant has finished making his or her crafts, he or she will be able to take each new craft item home, along with detailed instructions on how each craft was created.

In addition to crafting, participants will be entered into various door prize drawings that will take place throughout the day. And, each individual will receive a gift bag filled with goodies just for attending. Several vendors, including Scentsy Candles, Miche, 31, Wild Tree, South Carolina Creations and Pampered Chef, will also be on-hand selling items.

To participate in Make & Take Day, register on or before the extended deadline of Wednesday, Oct. 24. The cost to register is $25, and includes materials, a light breakfast and lunch. This event is limited to 60 participants.

To register, contact Brenda Dean at 563-6473 or bdean@rouse.org.
