Paul R. Baker, 46, of 12676 Rt. 27, Grand Valley died Thursday evening, October 18, 2012, from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Paul was born August 10, 1966, in Grand Valley, to Amy Southwick Baker and the late Sheldon Baker. He was a graduate of Youngsville High School, class of 1985. Paul was a member of the Grand Valley Vol. Fire Dept. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and enjoyed dancing. He was always willing to help anyone in need, and he will be greatly missed by many.
Paul is survived by his mother, Amy Baker of Grand Valley; a sister, Teresa Shamburg and husband Carl "Chip" of Erie; five brothers, Eugene Baker of Hydetown, Michael Baker and companion Vicki Jackson of Oil City, Randall Baker and wife Kate of Pittsfield, Duane Baker and wife Katie of Russell, and Lawrance Baker of Pittsfield; maternal grandmother, Bessie Southwick Sheffer of Buell's Corners; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bryon and Margaret Baker; maternal grandfather, Eric Southwick; and a foster brother, Leonard Hetrick.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, Pa. 16354 on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and attend the funeral service at the funeral home on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Culp, pastor of the Grand Valley United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Neilltown Cemetery.
