Warren ended its home schedule on a strong note, defeating General McLane, 4-2, on Saturday at War Memorial Field.
The Dragons once again kept possession of the ball for the majority of the match, and also outshot the Lancers, 27-12.
Matt Sandberg started the scoring for Warren just five minutes into the game. After being tripped up in front of goal, he quickly got up and blasted a shot into the top of the net to give his team the early lead.

Sandberg would strike again with 17:30 remaining in the first half when he knocked in a header off of a corner kick from Quinn Boger.
One minute later, Boger took the free kick, and his brother, Liam, found the ball and buried it to give Warren a 3-0 lead heading into halftime.
General McLane made a run late in the second half, scoring two goals within five minutes of each other, but the Dragon defense held them off for the last 10 minutes.
Hunter Mohney scored an insurance goal for Warren with just under five minutes to play. Mohney's shot came from about 45 yards out, after the Lancers' goalkeeper had come out and a shot had been deflected off of him.
Quinn Boger finished with two assists and Sandberg and Liam Boger one each.
Nate Sandberg played strong in goal for the Dragons.
"I'm very happy with the way we played, especially in the first half," said Warren coach Tom Harrington, whose Dragons are 11-4 and tied for second in Region 4. McLane (8-5-2) is in second in Region 5. "We passed the ball really well. In the second half we weren't as good, but we were good enough to hold on. McLane is a good team and the defending District 10 champion."
Despite being a non-region game, it could have enormous playoff implications.
"If we would have lost, we'd be on the outside looking in," Harrington said. "This probably puts us at the top for an at-large bid."
Warren returns to action when it travels to Titusville on Monday.

Eisenhower 3, Titusville 3
TITUSVILLE - Eisenhower tied Titusville, 3-3, in a non-region road contest on Saturday.
Eisenhower got off to a slow start and quickly fell to a three-goal deficit. Titusville (4-9-1), which Eisenhower defeated 6-0 earlier this season, scored three times in the first 20 minutes before Eisenhower could respond.
The Knights closed the gap at the close of the first half when Ben Perkins finished off a corner kick.
Eisenhower came out storming to start the second half and quickly scored to make a game of it. Just 30 seconds in, Andy Decker stole the ball off a Titusville throw in, dribbled center and ripped a 25-yard shot just inside the right post.
Eisenhower continued to battle for the equalizer with Titusville tightening up the defense. Before that could happen, Eisenhower was called for a foul in the box and a penalty kick awarded. Keeper Casey Vincent made a diving save to keep Ike in the match.
Eisenhower finally tied things up with 12:40 remaining. A give-and-go between Decker and Jake VanHouten resulted in a VanHouten breakaway goal to knot the score.
Each team had a couple more chances in regulation and overtime to pull ahead, but strong defensive play resulted in the game ending in a 3-3 draw.
Ike has Senior Recognition Day at 4 p.m. Monday against visiting Seneca.
