NCT Meeting

The October meeting of the Allegheny National Forest chapter of the North Country National Scenic Trail will be on Monday, Oct. 15, at the Lion's Den in Sheffield at 6:30. This month we will talk about the new shelter at Queen Creek, right on the trail. Also, the upcoming outdoor shows we are invited to. The outdoor shows are a great way to meet the people that have an interest in hiking and answer their questions. Last February, we did the Salamanca Outdoor show and talked to well over 200 people. 8000 people attended the show. This year, another one in Salamanca, one in Warren, and a big one in Erie in March. If you want to part of the longest hiking trail in the U.S., just stop by. All are welcome. Contact Keith Klos at 814-484-7420 for questions.
