Crash. Warren-based state police reported that a one vehicle crash occurred Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m. on Jackson Run Rd. Police said Michele Sweeney, 54, of Sugar Grove was traveling westbound when she briefly took her eyes off the road, subsequently crossing the center line before over compensating and losing control of her 1991 Cadillac Brougham. The vehicle struck the left shoulder guardrail and a utility pole, receiving disabling damage. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Rarey's Towing. Sweeney, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Warren General Hospital for an unknown injury after being evaluated by Lander and Sugar Grove EMS. A citation for driving on roadways laned for traffic was issued to Sweeney.
