Funeral and committal services were held on Oct. 11, in Grace United Methodist Church for Joseph N. Sabat, 80, with Rev. Kevin Haley, pastor, officiating. Members of Sheffield VFW #8755 and Clarendon VFW #314 conducted military honors and burial followed in St. Michael's Byzantine Cemetery, Sheffield.
