Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that a burglary occurred at a home on Jackson Ave. on Oct. 4 sometime between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Police said an unknown individual entered the home through an unlocked door and stole food. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers or PSP Warren.

Indecent assault. Warren-based state police report an incident involving an 18-year-old female and a 52-year-old male from Stone Mountain, GA that occurred on Oct. 8 at 10:10 p.m. at the Budget Lodge. According to police, the victim reported the suspect touched her in an indecent manner without her consent.
Pine Grove Twp.
Cruelty to animals. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident in which a small dog was shot with a small caliber weapon by an unknown individual on Oct. 8 at 7:50 a.m. Police said the dog was immediately taken to the Russell Veterinary Clinic for treatment. The status of the animal is unknown at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warren PSP or Crimestoppers.

Crash. Warren State Police report a crash occurred on Oct. 9 at 2:50 p.m. at the intersection of Jackson Run Rd. and School St. Alicia Reich, 23, of Warren was traveling south on Jackson Run Rd. in a 2009 Pontiac Vibe and attempted a left hand turn onto School St. Susan Brown, 59, of Tidioute, was stopped at the stop sign waiting to turn on to Jackson Run Rd. in her 2008 Jeep Patriot when she was struck head-on by Reich's vehicle. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained moderate front end damage and were towed from the scene by Pennmark Towing. Reich was cited for Required position and Method of turning with District Justice Laura Bauer.
