Conewango Twp.
Theft. Conewango Township Police reported that between mid-September and Oct. 9 at 7 Moore Dr., someone stole a handicap placard from a vehicle owned by Gene Austin, that had been parked in front of his residence. Anyone with information, please contact the Conewango Twp. Police Dept.
Vehicle Fire. Conewango Township Police reported that at 4:44 p.m. on Oct. 8 at 972 Preston Rd., they were dispatched to a motor vehicle fire. Upon arrival, Starbrick Fire Dept. had put out the fire coming from the undercarriage of the vehicle. Police met with the driver, Daniel Shannon, and he stated that he was traveling south on Preston Rd. and noticed that the vehicle had caught fire. Shannon pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and called for the fire department. Penn Mark Towing towed the vehicle from the scene.
Vehicle Fire. Conewango Township Police reported that at 12:02 a.m. on Oct. 9 at Market St. and Hillside Dr., they were dispatched to a motor vehicle fire. Upon arrival, N. Warren Fire Dept. had put out the fire. Police met with the driver, Steven Stolz, who stated he was traveling south on Market St. and noticed that fire was coming from the passenger side headlight. He pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and called for the fire department as the vehicle became fully involved. Rarey's Towing towed the vehicle from the scene.
