Joseph Petrick died on Monday, October 8, 2012.
Joe was born January 7, 1927 in Homestead, Pa. to Nickolas and Anna (Czupinka) Petrick.
In 1987, after 27 years of service, Joseph retired from General Electric in Erie. He loved being outdoors. In his younger years he enjoyed, hunting, and pitching horseshoes. He also enjoyed farming, which is something he did his entire life.

Joseph spent several years serving as an Elder with the Cambridge Springs Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved the door to door ministry and enjoyed sharing his Bible based hope of a resurrection of the dead with all he met. (John 5:28)
He was survived by Ermaleta (Rosebrook) Petrick, his wife of 7 years, who cared for him until his death, five sons: John of Meadville, Joseph (Linda) of Waterford, Gary (Eve) of Cambridge Springs, Dale (Sandra) of Venango, and Steven of Cambridge Springs, 3 Stepsons Timothy (Theresa) Lascola, of Warren, PA, Anthony Lascola of Arkansas, Mark (Darlene) Lascola of Denver, CO, one brother Nick and one sister Martha.
He had 16 grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchil dren, and a worldwide family of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Marion (King); and two brothers, John and Michael, as well as three sisters, Mary, Helen, and Anna.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 414 McClellan Street, Cambridge Springs, Pa. at 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
Timothy Lascola, an Elder with the Warren Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, will be officiating. Interment will be private. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of funeral arrangements.
