GIRLS SOCCER: Warren girls shut out Central for fifth win

October 8, 2012
The Times Observer

Warren earned its fifth victory of the 2012 girls soccer season Saturday with a 4-0 shutout of the Central Tech Falcons at War Memorial Field.

The hosts jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half of play and never looked back as Amanda Pinkerton and Lauren Frazier helped keep the Falcons off the board.

Freshman Kathryn Lobdell had her best game to date for the Lady Dragons. The first-year player netted two goals and logged the team's lone assist on the day, helping her team improve to 5-8. Lauren Butina and Erica Blair also chipped in goals for Warren.

The Lady Dragons will try to earn their sixth victory of the season on Monday when they travel to Corry.
