Warren

Harassment. Brian J. Knisley, 411 Laurel St., was cited after officers were dispatched to his residence for a reported domestic on October 3 at 5:08 p.m.

Theft. A criminal complaint was filed on Oct. 4 by Warren City Police charging Lindsey A. Seyfang, Warren, after she allegedly did take a two hour parking sign from the digit block of Franklin Street on September 29 at 10:40 p.m. She was also charged with receiving stolen property.

Possession. A criminal complaint was filed on Oct. 4 by Warren City Police charging Zachary A. Mihaloff, Townville, Pa. On May 22 at 5:06 p.m., officers were dispatched to a Laurel St. residence for a reported 9-1-1 hang up call. Mihaloff had allegedly grabbed a known female and shoved her during an incident in the residence. Mihaloff was in possession of several pieces of drug paraphernalia that were sent to the Pennsylvania State Police lab and tested positive for schedule III residue. He has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment.

Possession. A juvenile allegation was filed on October 4 charging a 17-year-old male after officers were dispatched to the area of Fifth Ave. and Beaty St. on a report of males walking down Fifth Avenue smoking marijuana on September 26 at 7:23 p.m. The juvenile was found to be in possession of a small plastic bag containing marijuana and has been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Retail theft. Two juvenile girls were cited by Warren City Police after they allegedly attempted to leave Bilo on September 28 at 1:59 p.m. without paying for $45.52 worth of merchandise.

Bad checks. Two non-traffic citations were filed on October 4 charging Wallace P. Bates III, Warren, after two checks he issued to Warren Shurfine in April 2012 were returned non-sufficient funds. Total restitution due to the store is $180.28.

Possession. On January 20, 2012 at 3:14 a.m. officers came into contact with David W. Brewer, Warren, in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue East. Brewer gave permission for officers to search his truck. Items of drugs and paraphernalia were seized and sent to the Pennsylvania State Police lab. The results were positive for bath salts. A criminal complaint was filed on October 4. He has been charged with possession of a controlled counterfeit substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Corruption of minors. City of Warren police reported that criminal complaints were filed on October 4 after an investigation into an incident that occurred on October 2 at 11:56 a.m. in the 300 block of East Fifth Avenue. Joseph W. Letendre, Warren, and Seth D. Clark, Warren, allegedly did offer quarters to Letendre's children if they would strike a juvenile female on the buttocks and ask her to see her breasts.

Mead Twp.

Lost person. At approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Warren County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing hunter in the Allegheny National Forest upper resevoir area hear the Kinzua Dam. A 58-year-old male had been hunting in the area off of Forest Road 160 and failed to return prior to darkness. A search team was organized involving 21 persons from the Clarendon, Cherry Grove and Pleasant fire departments, the Cherry Grove Dog Team and the Warren County Sheriff's Office. At about 2:15 a.m. the missing person was detected by sound in a very dense terrain area within 3/4 of a mile where he was last seen. The continuing search located the hunter at 3:20 a.m. where he was brought out of the woods. The search was terminated at 4:20 a.m.
