Since Jan.6, 1887, the Times Observer and its direct newspaper ancestors have provided the latest news, sports, features and opinions to their readers.
Our motto, "Serving all of Warren County," remains central to our mission today.
While the mission remains the same, the way we provide the information to you continues to evolve. It has been 125 years since the Daily Mirror was founded in 1887, becoming the Times Mirror in 1900 and finally the Times Observer in 1966 when the Times Mirror and Evening Observer were combined into a single, morning edition.

For all but the last 7 years of that time, our product was available only on paper. The Internet provided our readers with an alternative with the added features of reader interaction. Now, the Times Observer will go where you go.
Our commitment to being Warren County's leading media source continues now with our new mobile application, which allows us to reach our readers on the move.
Initially available to iPhone users, the app will ultimately be ported to Android and Windows 8 for users of smart phones using those operating systems.
Users of our mobile app will receive breaking news alerts, the day's top news and sports stories, features on local residents who are doing extraordinary things, along with being able to vote in our daily polls and search for articles.
Our commitment to Warren County has remained solid for more than a century, and with the release of our new mobile app, we will continue that commitment by satisfying the changing needs of our readers.
