OIL CITY - Warren won its second match in as many days Tuesday, defeating Oil City in straight sets at Oil City High School.
Warren had control for much of the match, winning by scores of 25-13, 25-15 and 25-16. With the win, the Lady Dragons are 4-4 on the season.
"We played a pretty solid all-around game tonight," said Warren coach Mike Dolan. "We did a nice job of controlling the ball and Rachel Lasecki did an excellent job of finishing off a lot of points for us."

Lasecki led the winners with nine kills while teammate Ashley Barker added four aces and seven assists. McKenzie Merenick contributed six digs and Allie Sedon had a pair of blocks as well as a pair of kills.
The Dragons' junior varsity team fell in three sets, 27-25, 20-25, 11-15. Jen Daugharthy had five kills, Tori Paris added four kills, Lizzy Marsh had three blocks and Keyah Anderson added three aces.
Warren returns to action Thursday at Meadville, looking to run its winning streak to three matches.

WCCS 3, Jamestown Bethel 0
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -Warren County Christian School improved to 11-0 and remains in first place in the New Penn Christian Conference with a 25-7, 25-12, 25-6 sweep of Jamestown Bethel on Tuesday.
"They played really focused tonight," said WCCS coach Monica Kerr, whose Lions have a tough match against visiting Erie First on Friday. "I was happy with the way they played together. You keep reminding them you want to be faithful to play well every time (because you can't turn it on whenever you want to)."
Jessie Lauffenburger had 13 service points, three aces and eight kills; Whitney Poindexter 10 points, four aces and five kills; Allyssa Kerr 14 points, five aces and nine kills; Dymphee Zortman 11 points, six aces and two kills, and; Alivia Kelsey four digs.
In WCCS' 25-14, 25-27, 15-7 junior varsity win, Hannah Cox had six points, two aces and three kills and teammate Hunter Uplinger six points, two aces and two kills. Katie Carpenter added two kills.

Cochranton 3, Eisenhower 0
COCHRANTON - The powerful Cochranton Cardinals volleyball team was too powerful for Eisenhower Tuesday, handing the Knights a 3-0 loss at Cochranton High School.
The Cardinals dominated each game, winning 25-8, 25-10, 25-7.
Alyssa Peterson had six blocks to lead the Knights, Marion Sherer added four kills and Heather Jordan chipped in five assists.
Ike's junior varsity team suffered a 2-0 loss, 7-25, 10-25.
The Knights (2-7) are at Maplewood on Thursday.

Saegertown 3, Youngsville 0
SAEGERTOWN - Saegertown made quick work of Youngsville in varsity volleyball action on Tuesday, defeating the Eagles 25-14, 25-12, 25-17 at Saegertown High School.
Abbey McLaughlin had eight service points for the Eagles, Julie Jameson added 11 digs and Kennedy Cratty added 12 digs, four kills and a pair of blocks.
"Kennedy Cratty played an outstanding game at the net tonight," said Youngsville coach Bev Fox. "She played very well."
Youngsville (3-6) is next at Cochranton on Thursday.
The Lady Eagles dropped the junior varsity game, 14-25, 14-25. Kaitlyn Hall had 29 digs, Julie Jameson added 14 digs and four kills and Marissa Byler chipped in with 13 assists.
