J.V. football
Sheffield's junior varsity football team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 32-0 victory over Brockway on Monday. The Wolverines jumped out to an early 6-0 lead on a 34-yard touchdown pass from Adam Higby to Kenny Early. Early scored on a running play from three yards out to give Sheffield a 12-0 lead at halftime.
A 50-yard scoring strike from Higby to Kenny Marshall in the second half pushed the lead to 20-0 and pick sixes from Noah Heeter and Marshall rounded out the scoring. The Wolverines return to action Monday, hosting Otto-Eldred.
Youth trap
Nathan Onuffer was top gun in the third week of the Youth Trap League at Pine Grove Sportsmen's Club Sunday with a score of 48. Michael McDunn was close behind with a 47 and Kassie Hollabaugh was high lady with a 44. The league's final shoot is scheduled for Sunday.

Go-karts
Terry Card won the heat and feature in the Clone 350-pound go-kart class, and Michael Card third and second, respectively, in that heat, at races held Saturday in DuBois.
