Bryona Marie Wiler, 13, of 9 South Drive, Union Springs, NY passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse, NY of complications from Cystic Fibrosis.
Bryona was born August 7, 1999 at the Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va., to Bryon J. Wiler and Alicia Kelly Wiler. Though only 13 years old, she had intelligence beyond her years. She soaked up knowledge like a sponge and wanted to make a difference in the world. She was a true humanitarian who loved everyone and loved every day, especially holidays. She wanted to learn to play the trumpet and her love of animals led her to want to one day become a veterinary nurse. She was an avid "American Girl" Doll collector, who collected and played with her dolls constantly. She loved "Sponge Bob" and "Scooby Doo" and musically, her favorite artists were Avril Lavigne and Taylor Swift.
Bryona is survived by her loving caregiver and mommy, Alicia Kelly Wiler of Union Springs, NY; her daddy, Bryon J. Wiler of Weedsport, NY; step brothers, Bryson and Carter; paternal grandmother, Susan Wiler of Auburn, NY; maternal grandmother, Doreen (Timothy) Bell of Moravia, NY; maternal grandfather, Terrence William Kelly, Jr. of Paris, Tx.; aunts, Kyra (Zac Johnson) Kelly of Eugene, Or. and Tara (Eric) Torgerson of Juneau, Ak.; uncles, Thane (Julie) SanbeiKelly of Juneau, Ak. and Jason (Val) Kelly of Moravia; several great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, John Wiler in 2007 and her uncle, Robert Weeks in 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the W.E.Wade & Sons Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Moravia, NY with Rev. Louise Tallman officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 3rd from 68 p.m. and again Thursday one hour prior to the service. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the Moravia VFW.
