Thomas E. White, 78, of River Road, Warren, Pa., passed away on Friday, September 28, 2012, at UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, Pa., after a brief illness.
Tom was born August 15, 1934, in Warren, Pa., the son of the late Benjamin and Evelyn Edgett White. He was a 1953 graduate of Warren High School. Tom was the owner and operator of Tom White Excavating. A hard working and happy man, Tom was an accomplished carpenter, family man, and friend, always willing to lend a hand.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy White, whom he married on December 1, 1967; four children, Keith White, and wife, Kathy, Warren, Pa., Mary Sudul, and husband, Jim, North East, Pa., Julie Bruno, and partner, Susan Laurie, Chicago, IL, and Joan Bruno, Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren, Shane Sudul, Melissa McNett, and husband, Nate, Matthew White, and wife, Mary Beth, Jimmy Sudul, and wife, Erin, and Tammy Maze, and husband, Andrew; six greatgrandchil dren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Gretchen McDannel and Rachel McElhattan; and brothers, William White and Charles White in infancy.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren, on Monday, October 1, from 2 to 4 p.m.
