Warren
Fight. City of Warren Police are looking for information regarding a fight that took place at about 2 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, near 910 Pennsylvania Ave. West. Police said the fight involved several people and as a result, one man suffered at least one stab wound to the head and other injuries. Police initially responded to a local residence for the report of a stabbing victim arriving there after this incident. The Warren City Ambulance transported the victim to Warren General Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Detective Tony Chimenti of the Warren City Police Department at (814) 723-2700. Brokenstraw Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 22 at 2100 Old Pittsfield Rd., a known female took a generator from Richard Pierce, Pittsfield. The generator is valued at approximately $1,000. The investigation continues.
Glade Twp.
Harrassment. Warren-based state police reported that at 7:30 a.m. on Mon., Sept. 24 at Warren Area Elementary Center, a known 11-year-old male became angry at school staff, and punched and kicked Ann Ryan, Warren and Cynthia Nuhfer, Warren several times. Charges are to be filed with Magistrate District Judge Bauer.
Mead Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 5 p.m. on Mon., Sept. 24 on SR59/Kinzua Rd. at its intersection with US-6, Leslie K. Shallop, age 23, Bradford, was stopped at the traffic light on SR59 at its intersection with SR6, when another driver in a Jeep failed to stop and struck the rear of Shallop's 2010 Ford Fusion. Shallop pulled over and stopped to exchange information with the other driver, and the other driver then fled the scene. The other driver's car is described as a newer, white Jeep product, possibly a Jeep Grand Cherokee or similar SUV.
Sugar Grove
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between Sept. 5-12, Cristina Marlene Ploss, age 30, Garland, was working at the Town and Country Store in Sugar Grove, when she removed cash from the register on two separate occasions. She also removed various items from the store that were offered for sale. Total for all items taken, including the cash, was approximately $80.00. Charges are to be filed at District Judge Bauer's office in N. Warren.
Tidioute
Aggravated Assault. Warren-based state police reported that at 6:10 a.m. on Thurs., Sept. 26 at Tidioute Towers Apt. Bldg., Francis C. Romig, Jr., Tidioute, threatened to slit the neck of a known white female with a knife. Romig was place in Warren County Jail on $50,000 straight bail.
Youngsville
Criminal mischief. Youngsville Borough Police reported that Heather Walters, Youngsville, reported that on September 23 after 10 p.m. and before 6:30 a.m., someone let the air out of the tires on her minivan. The minivan was parked on the 200 block of West Main Street in Youngsville. Walters also explained that this was the third time in the past few months that this had happened. The Youngsville Police Department is currently investigating this incident. If anyone has any information about this incidnet, please contact the police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Criminal trespass. The Youngsville Television Corp reported that someone has been driving over the grass between their building and the parking lot to the west of the building. The Youngsville Police Department is investigating the incident and anyone with information is asked to call the department or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Aggravated assault. The Youngsville Police Department is investigating a juvenile assault on a Yongsville Elementary Middle School staff member. The incident occured on September 11 a appoximately 2:40 p.m. at the school. Charges are being filed at this time charging the juvenile with aggravated assault.
