A Warren man died Wednesday after being stabbed as he was allegedly attempting to burglarize a home in Jamestown.
Jamestown Police say Henry L. Smith, 26, of Warren, died Wednesday as a result of a stabbing during an alleged home invasion at 112 Barker St. in Jamestown.
According to Jamestown Police, the resident said he returned home to find Smith and another subject attempting to burglarize his home.
Smith's body was found in a yard a short distance from the home while the second subject managed to make it to WCA Hospital. The other alleged burglar was later taken to UPMC Hamot in Erie, for treatment of his injuries. The second subject's name has not been released.
