OIL CITY - Nine different Warren players scored at least one goal and Warren rebounded from a sluggish loss to Saegertown with a 10-1 victory over Oil City Tuesday at Oil City High School.
Matt Sandberg had three goals for the Dragons in the victory. Hunter Mohney, Quinn Boger, Jason Stanton, Liam Boger, Phil Hachula, Joseph Bell and Max Gross all scored one goal each for the winners. Stanton and Gross each scored their first career varsity goal.
Gross, Hachula and Liam Boger recorded two assists apiece and Mohney, Sandberg and Brendan Garrett had one each. Nathan Sandberg and Clark Eason split time in goal as the Dragons outshot the Oilers, 51-6.
Warren (5-3) returns to action at 6 p.m. Thursday, hosting Titusville.
The Dragons won the junior varsity contest, 2-0. Eason and Mason Mohney had one goal and one assist each in the win. Neil Morrison was the shutout keeper.
