September 27, 2012
The Times Observer

Several police agencies in Warren County will participate in a prescription drug take-back event Saturday.

According to Sheriff Ken Klakamp, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the sheriff's office will staff three take-back locations: Clarendon, Sheffield, and Bear Lake volunteer fire departments.

Deputies will also provide a pick-up service through Saturday for those who cannot make it to the drop-off sites. Those interested in arranging a pick-up may call 723-7553, or, for those for whom the City of Warren is a long-distance call, 1-800-747-3724.

The other participating agencies and locations are: Youngsville Borough Police, Youngsville Borough Building; Conewango Township Police, Wal-Mart; City of Warren Police, police station.

The departments are working on the take-back in conjunction with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
