Animal cruelty

September 26, 2012
The Times Observer

Dear editor,

As an animal lover and human being I am compelled to write this letter in regards to the article about the burned dog in the Monday, September 24 newspaper.

Words cannot express the deep sadness and sickened feeling that I have after reading this article about a caged dog that was found ablaze by firefighters. The person or persons who did this to me are not human and have no shred of decency. This kind of terribly cruel act could only be done by someone who is absolutely evil!

Please people, as a society we need to take a stand against these acts of animal cruelty by imposing tougher laws with stricter penalties for those who commit these types of crimes. The punishment I believe should be imposed would not be able to go into print.

Sincerely,

Victoria Bradshaw

Warren
