Dear editor:
I heard some very good advice from the Glenn Beck show today. "Vote the Bible as You Walk toward the Booth" and "Prayer is the secret to America's Survival".
For example, don't vote based on what your union will be doing for you as an individual. Don't vote based on selfish reasons. We as a society need to vote based on the needs of this Country during this disastrous time in history. We are a selfish society who tends to think only of ourselves and how we can get "around" a stressful situation instead of dealing with it "head on".
Too often, political decisions are made in hopes of getting something for nothing. We often vote the lazy way. We need to vote as "One Nation Under God". As we enter the 40 days of prayer next week, pray for our Country, pray for our Freedoms, pray that we continue to uphold the Constitution, and pray for the strength to make the choice that is best for our children, grandchildren, and the entire Country as you enter the booth.
Let God guide you through the decision making process through the gift of prayer. We are living the Word of the Bible - just read Ezekiel 38 and "Vote the Bible."
