Clarendon

Theft of motor vehicle. Warren-based state police reported that between 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 22, a 17-year-old male allegedly stole an automobile from 2 Anchor St., Clarendon, which was parked in the resident's driveway, and then drove to Conewango Twp., prior to crashing on Grass Flats Blvd. and fleeing the scene. Police said the juvenile was located in the area committing additional crimes, and was apprehended by Conewango Twp. Police. Charges will be filed through the Warren County Juvenile Court.

Conewango Twp.

Defiant Trespass. Conewango Twp. police reported that on Sept. 21 at 8:35 p.m., Bryan L. Greenawalt, 2 New Court Place, Warren, was charged with defiant trespass after he was located inside Wal-Mart. Police said Greenawalt was not permitted on Wal-Mart property. Charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.

Retail Theft. Conewango Twp. police reported that at 8:35 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, Nikkia Rowland Lindstrom, 104 Buchanan St., Apt. 3, Warren, took $122.42 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart and concealed it without paying for it. All items were recovered and Lindstrom is being charged with one count summary retail theft filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.

Retail Theft. Conewango Twp. police reported that at 8:35 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, Tyler R. Gelotte, Warren, opened two dvd sets valued at $68.82 at Wal-Mart and concealed them. Both items were recovered and Gelotte is being charged with one count summary retail theft filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.

Criminal Mischief. Conewango Twp. police reported that between 10 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 22, someone entered two vehicles, which had been parked in a resident's driveway. Suspect(s) then rummaged through the glove boxes and consoles, throwing miscellaneous paperwork all over the inside of the vehicles. Anyone with information, please contact the Conewango Twp. Police Dept.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that on Sept. 15 at 1:40 p.m., a crash occurred as Bruce L. Bennett, age 27, Tiona, was traveling east on Route 6 east of the Glade Bridge, and lost control of a 2000 Hyundai Elantra, causing the car to travel off the south berm, striking a concrete curb. After impact, the car traveled 18 feet, striking a traffic sign and the embankment. The car continued to travel 162 feet along the embankment, coming to a final stop along the south berm facing east. The car was removed from the scene by Pennmark Towing. Bennett will answer to the following summary charged before Magistrate Laura Bauer: Careless Driving, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic, Restraint Systems, and Immediate Notice of Accident to Police Dept.

Criminal Trespass. Warren-based state police reported that on Sept. 19 between 12:01 a.m. and 12 midnight, someone entered in a camper belonging to David Brewer, age 49, Warren, and used it for an overnight accommodation without permission. Anyone with information is asked to call the Warren State Police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pine Grove Twp.

Theft of Motor Vehicle. Warren-based state policed reported that between 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 19 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 20, someone entered the side door of an unlocked vehicle belonging to William Martin, Russell, and forcibly opened the locked glove box, taking an envelope containing Russell VFD calendar ticket stubs and approximately $900-$1,000 in cash. If anyone has information regarding this incident, please contact PSP Warren or Warren County Crime Stoppers. Investigation is pending.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Sexual Assault. Warren-based state police reported that between June 1 and July 31, David Alan Miley, age 26, Sugar Grove, had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female and a 17-year-old female of Sugar Grove, and was in possession of prohibited photographs of the 17-year-old victim. On Sept. 20, Miley was arraigned in front of Magistrate District Judge Bauer; bail was set at $5,000. Miley was lodged in Warren County Jail.

Watson Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between May 1 and Sept. 11, an unknown person stole a Smith & Wesson, semi-automatic, .22 caliber handgun from the residence of Thomas Kuzminski, Irvine. The firearm was subsequently recovered in NY state. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Warren or Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers.
