The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers Sept. 24-28: barbecued ham sandwich Monday, fish Tuesday, meat and cheese sub Wednesday, parmesan chicken Thursday and chef surprise Friday. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.

Fall is just around the corner and with it comes our fall fundraiser, Basket raffle. Donations are being accepted for the basket and you can see it at the Sheffield craft and bake sale on Oct. 27 and the Senior Expo on Oct. 26.
Flu shots have been scheduled for October 15 from 9-12 with Kane Home health. No cost with Medicare card.
Kitchen band is looking for some new faces to join us in our travels and lots of fun. This month we will go to the Rouse and Bridges of the Rouse to entertain.
Don't feel like driving to Warren for appointments or shopping sign up for TAWC bus. The bus will pick you up at your door every Wednesday and the cost is only 25 cents for each stop. Call the center and we will do the scheduling for you.
We are always looking for pool players so with outdoor activities coming to an end stop in and see our new pool table and join in the fun.

Cutting grocery costs is everyone's goal. On Tuesday, September 25, at 1:15 p.m., Jim Seder, local butcher and meat shopping expert, will be at ACC sharing his knowledge of how to buy beef that makes tasty meals but at a better price than certain other cuts of meat. This is a class that will benefit everyone and your pocket book.
On Tuesday, September 25, the Allegheny Belles Line Dancers will be at ACC following lunch at 12:45 p.m. for some special live entertainment. Line dancing classes are offered every Monday and Tuesday for those who are interested. It's fun and very good for you!

All non-casino trips leave from the CRI parking lot located on Pennsylvania Avenue West, just over the railroad tracks on the left (along the river), unless otherwise instructed to park elsewhere. ACC is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. M-F with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Mon. & Wed. ACC is closed for all activities and meals on legal holidays. Hot lunches are available Mondays-Fridays at noon. You can call your reservation to 723-3237. Bistro lunch is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with no reservation required. Take-outs available.
