The September food inspection reports were released recently by the City of Warren and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
The following establishments passed food inspections conducted in the City of Warren:
Ling Ling, 227 Pennsylvania Ave. W., two critical violations: uncovered food found in refrigerator/freezers; freezer not at proper cold holding temperature; and one non-critical violation: meat thawing at room temperature.
CVS, 100 Market St., no violations.
American Legion, 412 Pennsylvania Ave. West, no violations.
Crone's Drug Store, 212 Liberty St., no violations.
Freddie's Bar & Grill, 1207 Pennsylvania Ave. E., no violations.
Andy's, 707 Pennsylvania Ave. E., no violations.
First Church of God, 1111 Madison Ave., no violations.
Kwik-Fill, Pennsylvania and Hickory, one non-critical violation: food stored in boxes on floor in walk-in.
Kwik-Fill, 2016 Pennsylvania Ave. E., no violations.
Chiodo's, 413 Pennsylvania Ave. W., one critical violation: uncovered food found in freezers; three non-critical violations: thermometers not provided in all freezers; food stored on floor in boxes in walk-in; non-food contact surfaces need cleaned.
Grumpy's, 904 Pennsylvania Ave. W., two non-critical violations: thermometers not provided in all freezers; kitchen floor needs cleaned around appliances.
The Bullpen, 200 Falconer St., one non-critical violation: staff not wearing hair restraints in kitchen area.
The following establishment passed an inspection and was issued a valid license after failing an earlier inspection:
Draft House, 707 Pennsylvania Ave. E., one critical violation: staff not wearing gloves when preparing ready-to-eat foods (repeat violation); and two non-critical violations: food stored on floor in boxes in walk-in (repeat violation); staff not wearing hair restraints in kitchen area. Violations had been corrected by the time of a later reinspection.
The Department of Agriculture conducted the following inspection in September:
Frosty Jack's Cart, 922 Newton Rd., Pittsfield, one violation: facility is operating on exposed dirt/gravel and does not have suitable platforms, mats, or other approved ground covering.
