Life's a marathon and a sprint when it comes to this week's Times Observer Athletes of the Week, sponsored by McDonald's. John Pascuzzi sprinted his way to 126 yards on 19 carries in Eisenhower's 39-8 Region 2 victory over Iroquois. Quarterback Aaron Lundmark and receiver Nathan O'Brien (not pictured) weren't too shabby either as the Knights are 2-0 in the region with a clash with Mercyhurst Prep on Friday at home. Lady Knight Julia Bauer excels in distance running, finishing third in a 3.1-mile cross country tri-meet with North East and Warren in 22:37. She was 17th out of 101 girls at an invitational in Bemus Point, N.Y., in 21:36.
