Jr. high football
Titusville swept a pair of junior high football games from Eisenhower on Wednesday. The Rockets won the seventh-grade contest, 14-0. Ike's offensive standout was Spencer Head and defensive standouts were Matt Huling and Willie Hoffner.
Titusville was a 45-0 winner in the eighth-grade game. John Hummel was the offensive standout for Ike, and Jack Robinson the defensive standout for the Knights.
Sporting clays
The Warren Sports Boosters' 3rd Annual Sporting Clays Shoot will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Kalbfus Rod & Gun Club. The cost of $25 includes lunch and a chance at door prizes. For information, call Rick Nowacki at 730-6718.
Jr. high hoops
Youngsville defeated Tidioute Charter, 48-8, on Thursday at Youngsville. Alison Ishman led Youngsville with 11 points, Kathy Sveda had 10, Autumn Hultberg seven, Maddie Cratty six, Paige Mineweaser six, Madison Fehlman two, Julia Bailey two, Aspen Flinn two, and Abby Carr two. For Tidioute, Laken Krouse had six points and Hanna Divido two.

Eisenhower swept a pair of junior high girls basketball games from Union City on Thursday. In the eighth-grade game, the Knights were a 28-24 winner. Alicia Straight led the winners with 10 points, Kiersten Baran added eight points, Tiffany Work had four and Joni Zortman, Ana Carlton and Peyton Mineweaser all scored two points each.
The seventh-grade game was a double overtime thriller won by the Knights, 35-29. Carlton had 10 points, Savannah McKown finished with eight markers, Maya Edwards chipped in six, Hailey Spicer five points, Mineweaser four and Miranda Garris two.
The Knights return to action Monday, visiting Oil City.
