Warren
Arrest. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Jakob Smith, 18, Warren, on charges of violation of probation. The defendant, who was originally placed on probation on a charge of corruption of minors, was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Cited. Warren City Police said Raymond VanHart and Mary VanHart, 311 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Apt. 8, were cited for disorderly conduct after officers were dispatched to their apartment at 7:20 p.m. Sept. 12 for a reported domestic dispute.
Charged. Warren City Police said a criminal complaint was filed Sept. 19 charging Harry S. Snyder Jr., Warren, with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. According to police, Snyder caused a disturbance in the basement of the Warren County Courthouse when he threatened to buy and gun and use it.
Tidioute
Theft. Tidioute Borough Police said Michael J. Hallas, 295 Main St.,reported to police that back in December 2011, a known person removed a total of 762 coins dating back to 1873 from a drawer at his residence. Police said after numerous months of trying to get his coins back, Hallas has filed a theft complaint and an investigation will take place.
