The Warren girls soccer team got off to a fast start in its region schedule, blasting Corry 10-0 on Tuesday at War Memorial Field.
It didn't take long for the Dragons to jump on the scoreboard in their Region 3 opener, with Kaitlin Ishman scoring a goal just three minutes into the game. Ishman seemingly picked up right where she left off on Saturday, when she scored a hat trick against Jamestown.
Jaimie Eaton scored the second goal for Warren from the penalty spot, after being held in the box. The Dragons third goal was also scored on a penalty kick. Morgan Danielson was tripped up in the box and Katie Ressler buried the shot.

Step to it
Morgan Danielson steps in front of a Corry clearing attempt during Warren’s 10-0 region-opening victory against the Beavers on Tuesday at War Memorial Field. Danielson scored two goals in the victory.
Erica Blair added a fourth for Warren before Eaton scored two more of her own, giving herself a hat trick and her team a 6-0 halftime lead.
In the second half, Danielson added two goals while Blair added her second and Sabrina Anderson scored her first.
Eaton, Ishman, Megan Butina, Kirsten DiPierro and Amy Castagnino all registered assists for Warren.
"Our team chemistry is starting to come along in the direction we hoped it would," Warren coach Bob Domville said. "We've got a couple of tough games coming up, and hopefully we'll continue to play well."
Domville was able to get several younger players some varsity time in the lopsided victory, and was happy with the way Gabby Enserro, Katelyn Leonard and Lindsay Onuffer took advantage of their minutes off the bench.
Warren (3-4, 1-0 in Region 3) will take on McDowell in a non-region contest at home on Thursday. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:45p.m.
The Dragons will return to Region 3 action next Monday when they travel to Mercyhurst Prep.
