Cheryl (Brown) Cordray, 69 of Girard, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 25, 1942 in East Liverpool, Ohio, to the late Fredrick and Alberta (Riddle) Brown.
Cheryl was a graduate of East Liverpool High School. After graduating high school she attended Cosmetology school, then settled down with her husband to raise her young family.
She attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Girard. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, reading, all kinds of crafts including crocheting, watching scary movies, and playing video games.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cordray, whom she married on December 21, 1961 in Wellsville, Ohio; and by her son, Bernard R. Cordray.
She will be forever remembered by her two daughters, Cassandra Oberlander and her husband Brian of Girard, and Charmell Feaster and her husband Kenneth of Warren, Pa.; her son, Douglas Cordray of Erie; her three sisters, Janice Michael of Saxonburg, Pa., Lynn Flower of Skyview Circle, Tex., and Carla Colton of Butler, Pa., her sisterinlaw, Glenda Javens of Girard; her grandchildren, Brian, Charles, Angelica, and Kenneth; and greatgrand daughter, Aurora.
Viewing and services will be held privately by the family. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2115 W. 38th St., Erie, PA 16508.
