Theft. Warren City Police report a criminal complaint was filed Sept. 17 charging Karen Brown, Bemus Point, N.Y., after she was observed on a security video while employed at Country Fair, 413 Pennsylvania Ave. E., placing 34 packs of cigarettes into a bag and leaving the store without paying for them.
Theft. Warren City Police report that Brandon Nicklaus, Warren, was taken into custody and charged on Sept. 14 after an investigation into thefts from the United Refining offices, 814 Lexington Ave., over the past two weeks. Nicklaus was employed by Bonded Services to clean the offices and was caught on security camera stealing items from employees' desks.
Charged. A criminal complaint was filed Sept. 17 with Warren City Police charging Eddie R. Gray, Warren City Jail, with four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of assault by a prisoner, disarming law enforcement, and escape. According to police, the incident occurred on Sept. 2 at 9:05 p.m. when Gray physically and forcefully removed a correctional officer's Taser and deployed it several times at close range. Police say he then grabbed another officer by the throat, pointing the Taser at her face, before slamming her head into a wall. He then pointed the Taser at two other correctional officers before being taken into custody.
