OLEAN, N.Y. - Warren's girls tennis team earned its third team win in three days with a 7-1 win over Olean High School on Saturday.
All 12 players saw action with the five doubles, three singles format.
"This was a battle of two large squads and a great chance for us to test out depth," said Warren coach Norm Dziendziel. "It was a special day for Sydney Ewing, Maria Miller, Megan Waterfield, Maggi Hansen, Samantha Darling, and Phoebe Nelson - all scoring big victories and securing out win over Olean."
In singles, Lauren Beach and Tyler Dziendziel grabbed wins, with Corie Eckman falling, 5-10, in games to 10.
In doubles, the teams of Shoshanna Ochocki and Kim Parroccini, Alexis Vavala and Waterfield, Hansen and Miller, Nelson and Ewing, and Darling and Waterfield again all earned wins.
"Warren tennis has been built on doubles and it was nice to see the tradition carry on down through our lineup," said Warren assistant coach Jeff Bartsch. "There are girls with a lot of passion and intensity on our team that don't get a lot of playing time. It was great to see them take full advantage of this opportunity."
Warren (5-3) hosts Villa Maria on Tuesday at Betts Courts.
