The Salvation Army of Warren will be accepting applications for its Project Bundle-Up program next week.
Applications for children age 18 and under and senior citizens 62 years old and over in need of new winter outerwear will be accepted between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, Sept. 17-21, or by appointment.
According to the Salvation Army, individuals may receive assistance through the Project Bundle-Up program once every two years; persons who received assistance in 2011 are not eligible.
Applicants must provide proof of monthly income and expenses, and verification of children at the time of the application. The Salvation Army emphasized that the program is only for Warren County residents.
Project Bundle-Up is partially funded by the Bundle-Up Auction held by WTAE -TV in Pittsburgh. One of the auction items in the "Weekend in Warren" golf package sponsored by Horton House, Cable Hollow Golf Course, Conewango Valley Golf Course, Jackson Valley Golf Course, McCulla's Steakhouse and Chiodo's Restaurant.
Financial donations for Project Bundle-Up should be sent to the Salvation Army, 311 Beech St., Warren.
