Talk about coming up big. Eisenhower's Jake VanHouten, above, scored eight goals in three wins for Eisenhower boys soccer last week, including a game-winner versus Corry with three seconds left. Warren County Christian School's Allyssa Kerr had 42 service points and 28 aces over three wins for the undefeated Lady Lions, Although a new week, Kerr added 16 points, eight aces, six kills and two blocks in the school's biggest win in five sets over Erie First. VanHouten and Kerr are the Times Observer Athletes of the Week, sponsored by McDonald's.
