Jr. high hoops

Eisenhower's eighth-graders fell, 29-12, to Titusville. For Ike, Tiffany Work had six points, Kirsten Baran four and Joni Zortman two.

Ike's seventh-graders fell, 37-4. Payton Mineweaser and Ana Carlton had two points each in the loss.

FRIDAY'S SCHEDULE

Football: Eisenhower at Iroquois, 7 p.m.

Sheffield at Brockway, 7 p.m.

Warren at Bradford, 7 p.m.

Cambridge Springs at Youngsville, 7 p.m.

SATURDAY'S SCHEDULE

Cross Country: Eisenhower at Longpoint Invitational, 9 a.m.

Boys Soccer: Fairview at Warren, 11 a.m.

Girls Soccer: Jamestown at Warren, 2 p.m.

MONDAY'S SCHEDULE

Boys Golf: Eisenhower Invitational, 12 p.m.

Boys Soccer: Eisenhower at Fairview, 4 p.m.

Bradford at Warren, 4 p.m.

Volleyball: Sheffield at Youngsville, 6 p.m.

Youth trap

A youth trap league sponsored by the Pine Grove Sportsmen's Club will be held on four consecutive Sundays, beginning September 16.

The league will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is a 50-target program open to all youth shooters. Ammunition and club shotguns are available and the league is under NRA instructor supervision.

Golf results

The team of Vince Messina and John Bevevino won the Tom Taylor Member-Member Golf Tournament held September 8-9 at Conewango Valley Country Club. The duo defeated the teams of Bob Follett and Gary Evans and Andy Benson and Gary Baldensperger in a sudden death playoff.
