Inviting all singles, families, children and youth to a fun, relational, weekly gathering aimed to "connect" the people in Warren and the surrounding communities. On Sunday nights from Sept. 16 through Dec. 9, several local churches (Pleasant Community, Scandia Covenant and Nazarene) will sponsor a ministry called "Connections" at the Warren County YMCA from 6 to 8 p.m.
Each evening will begin with a free dinner, followed by either age-specific, biblical, group devotions or a corporate time of music and a brief message. Afterwards, children and teens will make use of the YMCA facilities, alternating nights of using the pool, climbing wall and gym. Adults will have their own group aimed at asking honest questions about the Bible and finding support for life's issues.
You do not have to be a YMCA member to attend, nor is there a cost to attend. This is a great way to build relationships with others, receive some spiritual teaching and encouragement, get a free meal and overall have fun.
