Three members of the Warren County "Milky Ways Dairy 4H club" placed at districts in Meadville. Nick Johnson placed fifth with his jersey intermediate yearling named "Nick's May." Sami Johnson placed third with her jersey junior calf "GR Sammies Daisey." And, Parker Curtis placed second with his jersey junior calf "PR Artimis Kyros" and first as owner breeder. Parker placed fourth with his jersey summer yearling "Hera."
Both Parker and Sami qualified for states at the Pennsylvania Junior Dairy Show which is held at the State Farm Show Building on Sept 15 and 16. All three members will participate in the showmanship competition as well. Milky Ways leaders are Mark and Joanne Curtis and Joe Nickerson.
