Warren

Charged. City police were dispatched to BiLo on Sept. 7 at 10:49 a.m. for a report of two males attempting to leave the store without paying for merchandise. Josef R. Hillard, Warren, was charged by Criminal Complaint with Retail Theft and Criminal Conspiracy.

Crash. Warren-based state police received a report of a crash near 787 Route 957 on Sept. 9, at 6:30 p.m. According to police, Tara Knupp, 33 of Warren and two juvenile passengers were traveling East on Route 957 when Knupp drifted off the roadway, struck a guard rail, continued along the berm and entered the ditch on the south side of the road. Police said her vehicle, a 2008 Subaru Legacy, then struck a culvert, flipped forward and rotated while airborne. The vehicle then landed on it's roof, bounced up and flipped onto it's wheels before coming to a rest facing southeast. All three passengers were wearing seatbelts and were transported to Warren General Hospital by Russell Ambulance. Knupp received moderate injuries while both juvenile passengers received major injuries. Both juveniles were flown to Pittsburgh hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
