Boosters meeting

The Warren Wrestling Boosters will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the upstairs of Cornerstone Lounge.

College news

Youngsville High School graduate and Pitt-Bradford freshman volleyball player Amber Fox had 11 assists and 10 digs - her first career double-double - in the Lady Panthers' 3-1 loss to Scranton Saturday at the University of Scranton Invitational.

Pitt-Bradford (2-7) returns to action Tuesday, visiting Keuka.

Youngsville High School graduate and California University of Pennsylvania sophomore men's cross country team member Abel Robinault helped the Vulcans to a team victory in the Waynesburg Invitational on Saturday. Robinault crossed the finish line sixth overall with a time of 27:13.8.

The Vulcans return to action Saturday, September 22, at the Saint Vincent Invitational in Latrobe.

Golf results

The team of Conn & Company (Pat Hultquist, Ron Caldwell, Gene Covell and Dick Conn defeated Dave's Deer Hunters (Dave Youngberg, Bill Baglia, Dave Andrews, Gary Peterson), 23-17, to win the Cable Hollow Senior Men's Golf League championship recently at Cable Hollow Golf Course. Here are the flight-by-flight winners for the year-end tournament:

First Flight: Low net- John Bortz 28, Bob Yucha 30

Second Flight: Low net- Dave Berdine 32, Ron Reynolds 32, Frank Vella 34, Al Schumann 34

Third Flight: Low net- Al Suchar 30, Tom Erickson 33

Fourth Flight: Low net- Pat Black 32, Denny Davis 36

Youth soccer

The Kinzua U-14 co-ed soccer team defeated the Edinboro Soccer Academy, 6-0, on Sunday. Simon Smith had four goals for the winners and Tanner Kays and Jimmy Lobdell added one each. Seth Harrington, Andrew Beyer and Dominic Giannini shared time in goal.

Jr. high hoops

Eisenhower topped Tidioute Charter, 30-17, in junior high girls basketball play Saturday at Eisenhower High School. Joni Zortman led the Knights with 15 points, Kearsten Baran added six points, Savannah McKown, Tiffany Work, Alicia Straight and Peyton Mineweaser added two points each and Brittany Arp finished with one. The Lady Bulldogs were led by Tanner Divido's eight points, Lakin Krouse's six points and Sierra Hall's three points.

Ike returns to action Monday, hosting Kane.
