County Fair

September 8, 2012
The Times Observer

Dear editor:

To the residents of Warren County, this year, as always, the fair rolls into town signaling the close of the summer and to remind us that the beginning of the school year is right around the corner. Every year, for the past several years, the Warren County Visitors Bureau shows its appreciation, by throwing a Media Luncheon to thank all of the Media Outlets that help support and promote the growth of the Warren County Fair.

With that being said, we would like to send out our deepest thanks to those who have once again this year showed their unwavering support to our county and our fair: Dale Bliss & Dave Whipple from Warren Radio Partners, Dick Swick from House of Printing, Sherry Hutley from the Post Journal, Ron Bosworth from Senator Mary Jo White's Office, Michael Boyd from Northwest Savings Bank, Shelly Stec & Tina Dell from First Niagara, Terri Swanson from Erie Bank, Marge Terry & Barry Morgan from The Hound, Lance Pangborn from United Refining Company, Jamie Fredrick from PNC Bank, Lori Peterson from Elwood National Steel, Rich Bimber from Representative Kathy Rapp's Office, Marcus Maloney from the Wolf, Ron Smith from Media One Group LLC., Martha Bliss & Colin Kyler from the Warren Times Observer, Karen Baglia from Time Warner Media Sales, Brian Bowermaster from Pozer Web Design, Julie Barret from the Kane Republican, Doris Lebowski, Chuck Johnson & Dave Wilcox from the Warren County Fair, The new Cornplanter Caf for the delicious food, Miss Kellie Lindstrom this year's Warren County Fair Queen, Miss Lacy Rowland this year's 1st Runner Up for Warren County Fair Queen, Miss Michelle Cantrell this year's 2nd Runner Up for Warren County Fair Queen, Oneida Lumber & Ace Hardware.

We would also like to offer a special thank you to Courtney Stewart for entertaining us with her beautiful voice and guitar playing talents, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Stewart, as well as her manager Cindy, for spending the afternoon with us. Finally a special thank you to Commissioner Vanco for taking time from his busy schedule to offer us insight into why our fair is one of the greatest around.

We are a proud county full of rich history and any way we can share that with visitors can only help with the growth of our communities. Once again, thank you for all that you do for the Warren County Fair.

With Deepest Thanks,

The Warren County Visitors Bureau Staff and Board of Directors
