Show and tell

The Starbrick Community Church, 168 Weiler Rd., will have a "Show and Tell" children's program during the 10 a.m. morning service on Sept. 9. Each child will bring an item and tell the congregation what it is. The children, congregation, Trevor Smith and Pastor Wells will use the item to teach a Bible truth. The public is invited.
To dance Saturday
The Circle 8 Square Dance Club of Warren will hold a western-style square dance on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 8 p.m. in the Warren State Hospital Gym. Dress will be formal square dance attire. Warren High School Class of 1953 will have lunch at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the Eagles Club, Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. The class annual picnic will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Marine Corps League, 2355 Jackson Ave.. A social time will begin at 3 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Partaicipants should take a dish to share and beverage. Hot dogs, condiments, snacks and table service will be provided.
