Strong Vincent scored an early goal in the second half of Tuesday's girls soccer match with the Warren Dragons, making it hold up for a 1-0 victory at War Memorial Field.
Three days after starting the season with a 3-1 victory over Titusville, the Lady Dragons fell to 1-1 on the season as Thursday's road match at General McLane awaits.
According to Dragons coach Bob Domville, his team "played well and had chances" during Tuesday's game, but the ball never found the back of the net. Near the end of the match, Warren got a great opportunity when Jaimie Eaton launched a shot at the net, but the ball went just wide and the Colonels held on.
