RONALD KANE

Mr. Ronald Kane, 71, unexpectedly passed into the next life September 4, 2012 at 4:00 a.m. in Warren General Hospital. He was born June 11, 1941 in Pittsburgh to the late Frank and Marie Reagan Kane.

Mr. Kane came to Cherry Grove from Pittsburgh in 1984 and was a selfemployed logger, excavation operator and welder. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church and a very active member and former officer of the Cherry Grove Volunteer Fire Department. He really enjoyed putting time in at the fire hall and hunting.

Ron is survived by his wife, Susan Bohr Kane, whom he married August 2, 1997 in Sheffield; a daughter, Candice Rosenblatt, Wexford; a brother, Jim Kane, Penn Hills; five grandchildren; one niece; and five nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Church Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Father John Neff, pastor, officiating. Burial will take place in Cherry Grove Cemetery immediately following the service. Friends may call at the BordenLloyd Funeral Home Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 6:00 9:00 p.m. where a Vigil Service will be held at 8:30.
