Bridge classes

offered at library

The Warren Public Library will again offer beginning bridge classes with instructor Lana Creal. These classes are intended for individuals who have no experience with the game and those who have played the game before but feel they need another opportunity to learn the game. The series of eight classes will begin Thursday, Sept. 27, and continue for the next seven Thursdays. Pre-registration for this series of classes is mandatory; call the library at 723-4650 to register. The series of classes will be canceled if less than eight people pre-register. These free classes will be held in the Slater Room on the third floor of the Library. Bottled water will be provided.

Men to breakfast

The first men's breakfast for this season will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at North Warren Presbyterian Church. The breakfast is open to all men of the community, regardless of faith. Cost is a donation of $3 for breakfast cooked by men from our community. All men are welcome.

Reunion planned

Warren High School Class of 1952 will have its final reunion meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Eagles Club. This will be the final meeting before the reunion, which is planned for Sept. 15-16..

Reunion held

Russell Class of 1942 held its 70-year reunion on Aug. 18 at Warren Holiday Inn. Attending were classmates Irene Clark, Erie; Bonnie Spear, Youngsville; Stan and Shirley Pearson, Warren; and Alice Nasman, Warren. Wives of deceased members Charlotte Martin, Erie, and Carol Lundmark, Harbor Creek attended as well as guest Cheryl Hand. Plans for next year were put on hold.

Class to lunch

This month's Warren High School Class of 1955 lunch has been changed to Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 12:30 p.m. at Cable Hollow Golf Course.

Parkinson support is offered

The Warren Parkinson Disease Support Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at CTI Physical Therapy, 2265 Market St., Warren. Individuals with Parkinson Disease and their families are invited. For more information, call 489-3604.
