Elsie S. Yaegle, 97, formerly of 110 Elm Street, Warren, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Warren General Hospital after a short illness. She had been a resident at the Watson Home since 2005, where she made many wonderful friends.
Elsie was born in Guffy, Pa. (McKean County) on December 30, 1914, the daughter of the late Emil and Anna Sunberg Seaquist. Elsie graduated from Warren High School in the class of 1933. She worked at New Process Company and retired from Coates, Way and Anderson CPA's after many years of service as a clerk/typist. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she served in many capacities including Sunday School, Women of the ELCA, and choir.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Sleeman, and husband, Edward, Kane, Pa., and her son Gary Yaegle, and wife, Judy, Warren, Pa. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Pam McMillin, and husband, Jeff, Erie, Pa.; Brian Olson and Michelle, Mars, Pa.; and Jennifer Stanko, and husband, Todd, Kane, Pa.; four greatgrandchildren, and two stepgreatgrand children; also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death in 1989 by her husband, Paul M. Yaegle, whom she married on October 23, 1937; sisters, Gertrude (Herbert) Anderson and Evelyn (Richard) Yaegle; brothers, Oscar Seaquist, Elmer Seaquist and Edwin Seaquist; and a granddaughter, Sonya Olson.
Friends will be received at Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East., Warren, on Tuesday, September 4, from 6 to 8 p.m., and for one hour prior to an 11 a.m. funeral service to be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 306 Conewango Ave., Warren, Pa., with The Rev. Beth Costlow, pastor, officiating.
